A little preparation makes moving day easier. Confirm your final scope and arrangements with ARMS.

Before requesting an estimate

• Choose your preferred move date and note any flexibility.
• Have starting and destination cities, ZIP codes and access details ready.
• List rooms, large furniture, specialty items and anything unusually heavy.
• Note stairs, elevators, long carries, parking rules and building restrictions.
• Tell ARMS who provides the truck, rental vehicle or storage container.
• Explain packing, assembly, disassembly and staging needs.

Before moving day

• Confirm arrival window, crew, minimum hours and written estimate.
• Confirm pads, supplies, protection and truck or container arrangements.
• Label boxes by room; pack fragile items carefully.
• Reserve elevators and loading access and clear walkways.
• Keep keys, medications, documents and valuables with you.
• Arrange a safe space for pets and children.

Referral benefits

• Mention your referring partner’s ID before booking.
• Ask ARMS to confirm any client savings or credit contribution in writing before estimate acceptance.
• Check which labor charges qualify; travel, rentals, supplies and third-party charges are excluded.
